The offerings are designed to accelerate the process of moving SAP users to the cloud, provide solutions for adhering to S/4 Hana migration deadlines, complement RISE with SAP, and “cloudify” SAP with automation and integration of cloud-native data services.
The clock is ticking for ERP customers who must migrate to S/4 Hana by 2027 or face increased support costs for their legacy systems. The deadline has motivated SAP users to think more broadly about digitalization and the use of cloud-native data services in addition to the RISE with SAP solution. Most SAP users want to move to the latest version of S/4 before support runs out, but a successful migration depends on planning and testing, which can be costly and time-consuming.
Lemongrass’s new offerings are a response to these developments. Following are highlights of the new Lemongrass offerings:
● Lemongrass S/4 Hana Greenfield. Lemongrass will provide customers with a production-grade landscape for the updated S/4 in just days, including full monitoring, security and operational support.
● Lemongrass S/4 Hana Express Labs. The S/4 Hana Express Labs is a sandbox with a full landing zone and management tooling that allows SAP users to kick the tires on their actual ERP data in a live public cloud environment. Lemongrass will operate the lab for users for one month, with no commitment required.
● Lemongrass SAP RISE+. Lemongrass will convert and migrate the customer’s ERP system to RISE with SAP and build sister VPCs for non-RISE applications. Lemongrass will also operate non-RISE applications and provide initial BTP integration mapping. This starts with a funded assessment to chart a rapid migration to RISE with SAP, categorize non-RISE applications, provide an integrated approach to migration, wrapped up with a supporting business case.
● Lemongrass SAP Analytics Accelerator. For customers using, or who wish to use, cloud-native data services such as Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse and Snowflake, Lemongrass will recreate SAP data structures in these tools to enable simpler movement of data. The goal is to enable self-service data capabilities for business users to run machine learning and AI against their data sets.
