Artificial intelligence has been getting a lot of press lately. It is no longer the realm of science fiction stories - we now experience a wide array of AI systems almost every day.

Whether you are a professional in digital strategy services or the average consumer, you probably see that there is a lot of potential for machines that can simulate human intelligence. It isn’t always possible to have a human standing by to provide assistance. This can be a problem for businesses because the customer might go somewhere else if they don’t get the help they need. With chatbots, you have an effective solution to this problem. Modern chatbots are much more capable than their counterparts from just a few years ago, and they can be used to handle everything from customer service issues to acting as a virtual sales assistant. 

Personalization

Personalization can be one of the most effective tools for increasing customer satisfaction and boosting sales. With modern AI, developers can take personalization to the next level. Unlike old personalization systems that had the user select a bunch of preferences, AI can learn from the behavior of users to create a better personalized experience.

One obvious way it could do this is with personalized recommendations. The AI would see that users with similar shopping and activity patterns buy the same things, and this could inform better recommendations. It could also deliver more relevant content to move a customer closer to a sale or offer discounts and sales that are targeted to the individual. 

Internet of Things

The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to the many devices that we now have connected to the internet. Beyond your mobile phone, these could include fitness trackers, your TV, kitchen appliances, and even your car. These devices collect data on user activity which can then be analyzed to gain powerful insights. 

Furthermore, IoT and AI could work together to create better experiences for the consumer. You could create apps that work with a digital assistant or connect with the TV. AI could also work with a number of sensors out in the broader world to provide location-based experiences. 

There is no doubt that artificial intelligence plays a major role in the app development industry. It not only opens up a wide array of opportunities for developers, but it is often the key to building apps that serve users better.

In my opinion, While there are many pinpointed solutions that impact one or two steps in the hiring process, disparate systems can pose problems for enterprises, such as time-consuming, inefficient data entry and reconciliation processes. It’s more effective to have a seamless experience. Inefficiencies can lead to user dissatisfaction for all parties involved. And while some organizations do try to integrate disparate systems themselves, the performance is far from optimal and adds major overhead. I think that’s the kind of solution both sides want — the candidates as well as the hiring teams.
