Voquz presents the new release 3.1 of its SAP license optimization software samQ. In the new release you can now find the Indirect Access Risk Analyzer as inherent part of samQ. This new function uncovers Indirect Access and reveals potential sources of new risks.
The tool scans new critical interfaces and evaluates a risk index for all new discoveries. Furthermore, samQ automatically observes previously identified items by means of a risk level threshold system, which can be adjusted by the customers according to their own requirements. The exceeding of a threshold triggers a determined alarm.
In the course of a public dispute between SAP and two big customers in 2017, Indirect Access is still an important topic. The experience of numerous counseling projects lead to the development of this function.
Previously unknown activities in Fiori are identified by the new samQ Collector. It automatically integrates them into samQ’s scheduled routine License Optimization runs. For samQ it’s irrelevant if the user’s communication is running via different Fiori apps from the web browser, or if the user is directly working in SAP.
With the new release, customers do not only have the advantage of the Optimization Engine by Voquz, but additionally have the opportunity to run their own Optimization Engine specific to their company. Thereby, customers get the chance to adapt the engine to their individual needs. The maintenance of the content will still be performed by Voquz or partners.
Another possibility of the new samQ release: Customers do not have to save their files to work with them outside SAP, but can now use the new download function. Filter options enable the users to only extract the data they need.
In past releases, more and more reports were added to samQ. There was so much information that the prescribed number of listed reports in SAP was exceeded very quickly. To enable a better access, the reports were organized in a different way in the new samQ release.
