In December 2021, SNP entered into an agreement with SAP to move to the cloud with RISE with SAP. SNP has chosen to implement S/4 Hana Cloud, Private Edition on Microsoft Azure. The Heidelberg software specialist will implement the transformation using its own data migration platform CrystalBridge and its own resources.
The cloud move is part of a transformation program that SNP launched in January this year. As part of the program, the IT company will also integrate Datavard, which it acquired last year, and drive forward its own digitalization strategy by introducing various measures.
In addition, the program includes other far-reaching measures that will digitalize SNP’s landscape. For example, over the next few months, the IT company will introduce SAP Concur solutions and fully digitalize all processes in the area of travel expense management. Another part of the program is to implement digital archiving for documents and data in order to keep the system lean and agile in the future. To achieve this, SNP will use the Datavard software OutBoard Suite, which can automatically analyze and archive data, among other things.
