PwC And Celonis Agree On Strategic Alliance

The international PwC network and the software company Celonis announced the agreement of a global cooperation. The two companies have agreed on a joint market strategy that will allow clients to benefit from the expertise, knowledge, and strengths of both companies. PwC will contribute its know-how as a consultant and business value architect, while Celonis will provide in-depth process knowledge and the technology.

Global alliance, regional focus

“We’ve been working successfully with Celonis for years. Our cooperation will take this collaboration to the next level and create a global strategic alliance with a focus on innovation,” said Martin Scholich, Global Advisory Digital Transformation Leader at PwC.

As part of this strategy, PwC and Celonis will jointly develop solutions going forward. Based on PwC’s collaboration with Celonis, PwC clients will receive support in optimizing their processes as well as in fact-based decision-making and corporate management. Celonis clients will benefit from the alliance as PwC experts will support them in the interpretation of process analyses.

Focus on audit, finance, and S/4 Hana

PwC and Celonis will work together to improve the audit process, using the Celonis software to digitize and further optimize the process by identifying hidden opportunities and ensuring compliance.

Another focus will be the transformation of the finance function: with Celonis, PwC can support companies even better in their transition to a digital and fact-based financial world. The third focus is the migration to SAP S/4 Hana: Celonis’ software enables PwC to drive preliminary studies and business case analyses for S/4 migrations.
