Minsait Expands Its Open Banking Product Line

Minsait has signed an agreement with the startup Coinscrap Finance to offer banks and insurance companies in Spain and Latin America innovative products that help their clients to save quickly and easily.

Coinscrap Finance products allow institutions to launch new fintech and insurtech functionalities in less than four months on a tighter budget. Using automatic rules and gamification, the company aims to help customers to attain better savings through a great user experience and without having to alter their normal habits. Minsait’s developments, such as Life Financial Planner (LFP), offer a 360º view of individuals’ financial assets through bank aggregation, enriched with intelligence on non-financial assets (housing and vehicles).

The Coinscrap and Minsait product combination enhances the latter’s banking and insurance product line and takes advantage of the opportunity of open banking to offer more advantageous and better-tailored financial and insurance products. Therefore, Minsait adds innovative products with a high business potential, which have already been successfully tested in some of the main players in the financial and insurance market such as Mapfre, Bankia, AON, CASER Seguros, or EVO Banco, among others.

Furthermore, the alliance contributes to Minsait’s objective of promoting a new customer relationship model for banks and insurers supported by new digital technologies, the PSD2 directive, and the opportunity fintech provides for improving clients’ financial health and nimbly adapting financial products and services to their needs.
