The alliance between Esker and Signature South Consulting is designed to benefit the Latin American customers of both companies by providing a more comprehensive set of offerings while meeting the complex and evolving electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) mandates that vary by country.
Esker is a global company with customers that also have a worldwide presence. They decided to pursue a regional partnership to help navigate the various diverse e-invoicing mandates of the Latin America region.
In Signature South Consulting, Esker found a partner with unparalleled expertise in e-invoicing compliance.
“Signature South Consulting was the obvious choice for us in terms of a partner,” said Steve Smith, U.S. chief operating officer at Esker. “Not only is it the only provider of a solution that meets all e-invoicing requirements in Latin America, but it also has a reputation for integrity and excellent customer service.”
Signature South Consulting also saw the value in an alliance with Esker. Although the company has expertise in electronic document exchanges, it wanted to expand its business service capabilities to include document automation and processing.

Now that the two brands have forged a synergistic partnership, they will begin offering integrated solutions to current and future customers.
Esker is sncreasing productivity through AR
Esker also announced that it is working with France-based Touax, a global leader in modular technology for housing solutions and services, and logistics centers, to automate the delivery of its customer invoices, both paper and e-invoices. With Esker, Touax has been able to improve employee productivity, increase physical office space and enhance customer satisfaction, particularly with public administrations.
Prior to implementing Esker’s accounts receivable (AR) automation solution, Touax’s accounting department spent close to four business days per month manually processing customer invoices from its seven French branches.
A dedicated room housed all of the large equipment, printers and noisy machines — not only taking up space, but representing a significant cost for the company.
Initially, Touax outsourced the processing and delivery of paper invoices, which enabled the company to prepare its teams and customers for the gradual transition to e-invoicing.
“We were looking to modernize and gain physical space,” said Jean-Michel Erault, credit manager at Touax. “Esker offers a versatile and scalable solution, capable of automating both paper and e-invoice delivery, as well as complying with different public administrative needs.”
Touax has extended its existing solution to include e-invoice delivery and is now able to offer its customers (including public administrations) the option of switching to e-invoicing with electronic signature. They hope to convert 30 percent of its customers in the private sector within the next year.
