The international Swiss group of companies in the field of electric drive solutions in heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology launched the new Swiss main page, the new US and the new Canada website, using an integrated platform based on Magnolia CMS, SAP Hybris and CPQ.
The go-live of the web shops is a significant milestone in Belimo’s digital strategy: The previously heterogeneous marketing and e-commerce application landscape is being merged into a global, consolidated web presence. Belimos’s goal is to further underscore its position as a provider of innovative and high-quality products with this initiative and provide a clear, consistent and global brand message. Belimo will thus provide its customers with an integrated, state-of-the-art Digital Customer Journey.

Integrated platform with SAP CPQ
The global Arvato Systems team made this possible with an integrated platform based on Magnolia CMS 5.5, SAP Hybris B2B Accelerator 6.2 and the latest version of SAP CPQ 2.0 (Configure, Price, Quote).
As one of the early adopters of SAP CPQ, this allows Belimo the flexibility to define configurable products and pricing in SAP ERP once; and then seamlessly pull and cache the configuration in to the Hybris webshop.
Customers can then configure their products using the latest configuration and pricing, thereby eliminating real-time performance issues asking for this data directly from ERP. Magnolia marketing content and Hybris commerce are seamlessly integrated via RESTful Web services, and Hybris Data Hub is utilized to send and receive order and account data asynchronously from the webshop to ERP.
Arvato Systems was also responsible for the implementation of a responsive look and feel to allow Belimo customers the option to use mobile devices to shop on-the-go.
