Business Press Release

Abat Opens New Branches in China and Lithuania

Abat follows customers and offers them on-site support in the local language and with personnel continuity.

China and Lithuania are by no means new territory for Abat, as it has already carried out numerous projects both in the Baltic States and in Asia.

Between the Temple of Heaven and the Forbidden City

The office in China is located in the capital Beijing in the up-and-coming district of Shunyi, where other German companies have settled in the Sino-German Industry Park. The General Manager of Abat China is Hao Lin, who has been with the company since 2014. He will organize the local business together with Henrik Lienstromberg—in the role of Executive Director. The mainstays of the business will be SAP consulting with S/4 Hana and cloud services, as well as IT services, strategic consulting, project and application management. Despite the zero-covid strategy and the uncertainties in the current global political situation, Abat has decided to take this step, following its customers and tapping potential in the still growing market.

Progressive and business-friendly Vilnius

Modern infrastructure, a business-friendly environment, and a pioneer in digitalization: when it comes to future viability, Lithuania leaves nothing to be desired. This was reason enough for Abat to open a location in the Baltic States. Since summer 2022, Abat Lithuania has been a member of the Abat Group with its headquarters in the Core Business Center in Vilnius. Among other things, the employees there support customers with language skills, personnel continuity, and seamless integration into the Abat service model in cooperation with other locations. The team in Vilnius focuses on the business areas SAP consulting, application management services, SAP Basis and software development.
