SAP Hana & Bill McDermott (Robert Platzgummer Cartoon)

Any SAP customer can have any database and any size and any license he wants so long as it is an in-memory computing database from SAP.

SAP Hana shows a very poor performance. You have to choose Intel Xeon or IBM Power, Linux and SAP Hana – nothing else! This is the only choice for the SAP community. Poor community! And SAP CEO Bill McDermott says: “Thats the right spirit, Henry: Always run simple!”

Henry Ford (1863 to 1947) was an industry leader and a business magnate. He founded the Ford Motor Company and is also credited with the development of the assembly line technique of mass production.

This cartoon is based on Henry Ford’s almost infamous saying, “Any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it is black!”
