Atos and Nozomi Networks Team to Deliver Cybersecurity

Atos and Nozomi Networks announced they will work together to provide industrial enterprises real-time operational technology (OT) network visibility, data analysis and cybersecurity protection.

The joint solution will help customers decrease total cost of ownership while implementing both analytics and cybersecurity within industrial networks. It also improves critical infrastructure analytics to help drive business value and innovation across IT and OT environments.

Recent industry studies indicate the number of enterprise security breaches continues to grow. Globally, more than six out of ten enterprises have been breached in the past few years. In like manner, within ICS, three out of four customers expect a cybersecurity attack will happen to them.

Big Data analytics to span both IT and OT

“Industrial customers require Big Data analytics that can span both IT and OT. This is crucial to not only improve the security of their critical operational infrastructure, but also to extend the value of those assets. For this reason, predictive maintenance is important, too”, said Jerome Sandrini, Head of Big Data and Security at Atos. “Working with Nozomi Networks allows us to possibly benefit from their artificial intelligence-powered software. We are especially focusing on monitoring and identifying threats in companies.”

Nozomi Networks positions itself in the ICS security market with a platform for cybersecurity and operational reliability. Their aim is to deliver real-time ICS monitoring, industrial network visualization, hybrid ICS threat detection and asset inventory assessment through a single solution.

Atos Codex analyzes structured and unstructured data from different sources. Those include operational networks, and provides insight to users across the business. Combined with Nozomi solutions, Codex will provide customers with the real-time information they need to run their businesses safely and securely.

“Atos aims to deliver technology that transforms business and drives a desired outcome that enables customer success,” said Edgard Capdevielle, CEO of Nozomi Networks. “We are joining forces to try and tackle cybersecurity challenges and data-powered business decisions. They surface more and more as IT and OT infrastructures converge.”
